frankly honest …when I made the first umbrellas in 2017 it was a whole new world for me because I was now placing my art on the surface of a huge device that we use to cover ourselves from the rain or the sun light.
Whenever I create a random Collection on new surfaces with my artwork I always think about hello kitty and coco Chanel and what they have created ..then I go ahead and create my art collections, it was interesting introducing the first umbrellas.
I took two years to even finish making the umbrella and finally creating it so how much are they going to be??!!
$150 was the perfect price point , A couple sales in recent years with limited numbers we’re crated to give lead way to collectors To finally be able to own one has been created seldomly here and there.
I asked myself; “how am I going to show the umbrellas to the art collectors ? what am I gonna say… I made these huge amazing pieces… I love them, and I’m looking forward to everyone that follows me loving them. So I introduced them in 2017 and it was interesting washing the evolution of my art, To where it was able to be an umbrella.
It was a success, it took a bit to get everyone used to the idea of an art piece being an umbrella. But in the end everyone got my idea and the umbrellas have been shipped all over the world ever since .
OK there’s a lot of Umbrellas that are now sold out.
Nonetheless I look forward to the last 4 art designs available in my umbrellas to Be owned by whoever is watching me.
