Thank You for Giving My Dolls a Home

I want to say thank you to the people who choose my art.

When you give one of my dolls a place on your wall, you’re letting something I created become part of your everyday surroundings. I don’t take that lightly. You could put anything there, and you picked a girl with lashes that practically need their own parking space.

I make these dolls with personality, but what you connect with is yours. Maybe it’s her expression, a color, or a little attitude that feels familiar. I like that you don’t have to see exactly what I see to enjoy her.

That’s a part of being an artist I want to keep appreciating: the connection doesn’t end when the artwork leaves my hands. Someone else gets to live with it and give it their own meaning.

So if you have one of my pieces, thank you for making room for her. I hope she still catches your eye when you walk past. And if she makes you smile on an ordinary day, that means a lot to me.
