2017 I had the craziest idea to open a gallery for everyone that loves my art to enter and buy my art instantly. it’s crazy, so I did it , and I chose South Gate to open it. Then I opened one in East LA for six months that one I closed it as planned.
But I was attached to the South Gate one And couldn’t close it after six months. so I did one year, then two years... and finally these last months of 2019 I decided that I wanted to move somewhere else so I closed the gallery down FINALLY and put my feelings in a big fucken box.
It was very emotional for me and my mother because we both built this place together, we were both scared In 2017, to take the gamble.. I come up With the craziest ideas and my mom follows me, she would run the gallery so she was hella cry babying it lol
The Sand Gallery In South Gate was A gathering place for so many women and men to come together. We did so many events such as; coffee night, collection releases, lots of food and business gatherings and group talks about life.
Thank you if you visited my gallery in person I am forever grateful it’s time to move onto the next chapter in 2020
